Ruby Bassford (they/he) is a disabled, neurodivergent, queer, and transgender artist whose work is centered around disability justice and chronic illness. They create conceptual art, performance art, and sculptural paintings made from medical equipment and found objects. Their work challenges ableism and explores themes of nature, gender, the body, identity, and socio-political constraints.
